I got my start in the world of investments when I bought my first house in college. My wife and I now own 4 businesses, including a financial services business, real estate brokerage, escrow company and a multi-unit haircutting franchise. My investment interests are primarily focused on businesses and cash flow real estate. I have done various types of real estate transactions, including remodels, lease options, land development, vacation rentals, and multi-family rentals. For me investing is about owning my own time. Although I'm sure I'll never truly retire, I find great value in being able to vacation, spend time with my family, and learn new things (like how to play the guitar).
